French Polynesia Islands

French Polynesia is one of the South Pacific's favorite tourist destinations, its many popular destinations including the islands of Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Rangiroa etc. French Polynesia's many islands and atolls are far-flung, occupying much of the eastern part of the South Pacific ocean. Tahiti can be reached in about six hours flying time from Los Angeles and approximately seven hours flying time from Australia and New Zealand.

French Polynesia appeals to travellers from all over the world. The pristine beaches, legendary atolls and lagoons make this a South Pacific dream destination for many people looking for that tropical holiday island vacation or honeymoon.

Tahiti is the principal island in French Polynesia with an international airport a short drive from the capital town of Papeete, a bustling harbourside centre with shops and cafes. There are a number of large resorts just a short drive from the airport as well as Papeete hotels and pensions. Escape to the South Pacific to experience first hand these tropical French Polynesian islands.
